Families FIRST is a prevention program that
provides case management for Medicaid eligible pregnant women and their children
up to three years of age. Our nurse case manager provides information
that promotes healthier pregnancies and
healthier babies. Pregnant women receive information about community
resources. Babies receive regular developmental screening and their
families receive appropriate, fun activities to help their children learn
and grow.
This program also assists families to access health care, parenting classes, childbirth education, counseling, food resources, housing and transportation.
